We live at Piazzola sul Brenta, that is a small town in a flat land. We love the land where we live because of its nature. The plants we like best are: weeping willows, fir trees, peach and cherry trees; instead we don't like pine trees, hedges and horse chesnuts. The fruit we like best are: peaches, cherries, apricots, plums, kiwi, strawberries, lemons and watermelons. They all grow in our fields. We also like almost all kind of flowers (see some) and animals (see some), rats, spiders and insects apart . Piazzola is a place full of history: there are a very beautiful and ancient villa (villa Contarini), old houses, a church, monuments, a park and a playground, sport fields, a big square (where, on friday, there is a big market) and a branch of Brenta. Inside the Villa there are a big garden with a pond, trees and some animals in it. In summer or in winter we go on holiday to the mountains or to the seaside: both places are close to our town.
