During the first month kids prepared a short description of themselves, taking photos or preparing drawings. Then they shared their "identity documents", posting them in the Virtual Classroom. In the meantime they have learned how to use the Virtual Classroom portal, post a message or send it to others and, of course, how to use a simple htlm editor. After brainstorming on "what to do next", we decided that it would be a good idea to "invent a place" where kids could live, but first it would have been necessary to better know how and where we currently live, focusing on four elements: air, earth, fire and water. Then each school divided the children in four groups and each group produced a presentation of a single part of their land and way of life, from their point of view. This has been the basic imput for building up "The perfect Place". At this stage cooperation has been considered only inside each "national group". |
