We live in Whitehouse, Texas.  On the map, Whitehouse is a small, growing community just 7 miles outside Tyler, Texas.  We live in a region called the Piney Woods of East Texas because of the trees. 
   Once a favorite stopping place for travelers,  Whitehouse is said to have gotten its name from a small white-washed house that served the community as a school, church and a place to conduct business. 
   Whitehouse is a growing community of more than 7000 residences.  The community has much to offer a growing family.  There are food establishments, banks, business, schools, churches and more to meet the needs of our community.
