Air

In Whitehouse, Texas the air is usually clean and fresh.  We have little industry that pollute or fouls the air.  Most of the time the smells we enjoy are the flowers blooming in spring, the smell after a rain shower, fresh cut grass, of bacon frying in the morning or something baking in our mother's oven.
We do have our share of bad
smells:  the occasional visit from a prowling skunk, the trash not disposed of yet, a pet not cleaned up after, or the smell of  cigarettes.
    The
weather varies from hot in the summer to cold in the winter.  We do not see much snow or ice, but our temperatures will drop below freezing and climb above 100 in the summer.

Sounds:  those of children laughing and playing, the music we like, the animals at night, or the train as it rumbles through town, make up our world.
