THE PROJECT

• This is a short description of our virtual classroom aim and work:
• Knowing each other and discovering the way we live in our countries;
• Describe what we like and what we don't like of our "way of life";
• Cooperate to build up a "perfect place" where we could live together...

  The whole project would probably have needed more time to be completely developed. Children have spent most of the time implementing the research on their country, land and "way of life": few days have been left for building up "The Perfect Place". By the way, it has been interesting and funny working together on it. Here are some of their comments:

• We have learned: to use the PC to communicate and write in English (Andrea, Mattia, Giorgia); to draw with new colours (watercolours) and thechniques (Luca, Massimo); to work better in groups and be more confident with others (Serena, Greta); to be more accurate and tidy (Ettore); to use our creativity (Elisa); to be more independent and active, helping each other when working in group (everybody).
• We have enjoied: taking photos of our town (everybody); drawing and planning (Serena); working in groups (Ettore); planning to build a place, our place (Elisa); researching for prices comparison (Mirco); to be divided into different groups with different interests (Luca).
• We have found it difficult: writing our presentation (Ettore, Elisa, Massimo, Giorgia, Luca, Andrea); reading in English (Mirco).
